Terms of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of AdminPro, including its Windows desktop application and related components (collectively, the “Service”).
AdminPro provides tools for organizing and managing authorized IT connections, credentials, VPN profiles, servers and related configuration.
2. License and Use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable license agreement, AdminPro may be used for legitimate administration of systems for which the user has authorization.
The user is responsible for ensuring that their use of AdminPro complies with applicable laws, contracts, security policies and the rules of the systems they access.
3. Authorized Access Only
AdminPro must only be used to access servers, databases, VPNs, applications and other infrastructure for which the user has appropriate authorization.
AdminPro does not grant permission to access a system. Possession of credentials or technical ability to connect does not by itself establish authorization.
4. Credentials and Sensitive Information
The Service can store sensitive credentials and connection information inside its protected vault. Users are responsible for entering only credentials they are authorized to use and store.
Users must protect their master password and the computer, backups and exported vault files containing AdminPro data.
5. Encrypted Vault
AdminPro uses an encrypted vault model intended to protect stored sensitive information. The application may use a master password, encryption, salt/key derivation and integrity protection as part of its security design.
Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute protection against malware, compromised operating systems, stolen credentials, weak passwords, unauthorized physical access or other attacks.
6. RDP, SQL and VPN Connections
AdminPro may facilitate connections such as RDP, SQL and VPN connections. The user remains responsible for the destination, credentials, permissions, network security and configuration of the systems being accessed.
AdminPro is not responsible for failures, outages, incorrect configuration or security incidents originating in third-party systems or infrastructure.
7. Backup and Export / Import
Backup and export/import features are provided as administrative conveniences. Users are responsible for protecting backup and exported vault files.
Loss, corruption or unauthorized disclosure of a backup or exported file may expose sensitive information depending on the file and its protection.
8. Third-Party Services
AdminPro may interact with third-party technologies and services such as Windows, RDP, SQL Server, VPN software and other applications. Those services are separate from AdminPro and may have their own terms, licenses and security requirements.
9. No Guarantee of Availability
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Availability and error-free operation are not guaranteed. Problems may result from Windows, networks, servers, databases, VPN providers, third-party software, hardware failures, configuration errors or other external causes.
10. No Guarantee of Data Recovery
AdminPro may provide backup, export and recovery functionality, but users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate independent backups of critical information.
The operator does not guarantee that a corrupted, deleted, lost or damaged vault can always be recovered.
11. Prohibited Use
- unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
- use of credentials belonging to another person without authorization;
- circumventing security controls or access restrictions;
- using the Service for unlawful activity;
- attempting to compromise AdminPro or connected systems;
- distributing malware or using the Service as part of malicious activity.
12. Intellectual Property
The AdminPro software, design, branding and associated materials are owned by or licensed to the operator unless otherwise stated. Copying, redistribution, reverse engineering, sale or commercial exploitation is not permitted except where authorized or permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized use of stored credentials, incorrect connection configuration, third-party outages, network failures, lost or corrupted vault files, compromised devices, malware, insecure backups, or actions performed by the user against connected systems.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Termination
Use of AdminPro may be discontinued at any time by the user. Access or licensing may be restricted or terminated where the Terms are violated or where necessary for legal, security or technical reasons.
15. Privacy
Use of AdminPro is also governed by the AdminPro Privacy Policy.
16. Changes
These Terms may be updated when the Service, applicable law or licensing arrangements change. The latest version includes the applicable “Last updated” date.
